Parent Support Groups

Shift is an informal group of parents and carers of children with special needs.  They meet in Dunmore Primary School in Abingdon during term time on alternate Thursdays and Fridays from 9 – 11am.

There is always coffee, chat and cake and some weeks they have a visiting speaker.  They do not run a crèche but preschool age children are welcome and there are plenty of toys.

Short breaks provide opportunities for disabled children and young people to spend time away from their families and have fun; they also provide families with a break from their caring responsibilities.
